General Job Description of Position :

Operate a bulldozer safely to cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes

Key Responsibilities :

• Conducts safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and machinery
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects.
• Perform maintenance work to equipment including oiling, greasing, and making necessary adjustments.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat
