As a ServiceNow IT Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing processes and procedures based on industry standard ITIL v4 framework for Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Management within the Casey’s ITSM toolset to meet the organization's needs.

Requirements:

  • Develop and implement an overall IT Service Management training strategy and plan.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap that drives implementation throughout IT for ITSM delivery, metrics, and governance.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization and champion the day-to-day operation, continuous improvement, and governance of the service lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with IT lifecycle process owners to ensure alignment and the consistent and effective delivery of ITSM processes to the enterprise and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit to communicate future state roadmap and to keep apprised of ongoing efforts to evolve the Change Management program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and timely ServiceNow services – (ITSM, CSM, ITOM, ITAM).
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and latest ServiceNow features to enhance systems.
  • Accountable for the health, development, and oversite of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Partner with internal teams to support training, enablement, product management and best practices across the organization.
  • Ability to develop and sustain solid working relationships with stakeholders across departments and vendors driving cross-functional collaboration and building consensus.
  • Ensure each process is well documented and the documentation is readily accessible.
  • Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline or work-related equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of Seven (7) years of progressive experience leading and managing a technical solutions team.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (v3) required, (v4) is preferred.
  • Deep experience with ServiceNow is required. ServiceNow and platform-based certifications strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes.
  • Motivated self-starter, with a proven track record that demonstrates the sense of urgency and commitment required for leading high performing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly analytical. Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly team oriented. Collaborative and open to new ideas. Ability to effectively review and identify circumstances and evidence of a problem and apply sound troubleshooting practices to diagnose the root cause of the problem.

This role does not allow for 100% remote work. Qualified candidates will need to live within a daily commutable distance of Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA and be willing to work in a hybrid work environment consisting of 3 days per week onsite.
