Job Summary:

This position (internally titled Associate Business Analyst) is responsible for providing process improvement, analysis and project management, for the Technology Services Department including but not limited to, IT asset management and building security systems.

This position is based at our Seattle, WA and expected to be onsite.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Service Ownership: Performs Service Owner duties including handling Tier 2 requests, creating and maintaining procedure and training documentation and periodic reviews of services to address problems and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for recommendations to management on the future evolution/roadmap of assigned services.

· Project Management: Creates project plans for small and medium sized projects. Accountable for scope, deliverables and milestones. Manages project risk associated with team and vendor deliverables and milestones. Establishes timelines, and effective progress measures that include vendor and staff workload and productivity. Communicates status, risk and mitigation strategies, and manages project approval gates.

· IT Asset Management. Responsible for managing IT equipment and other assets, including inventory management, moves/changes, retirement and disposal. Responsible for management reporting and continuous process improvement in partnership with Finance and Facilities departments to assure accurate and efficient processing of assets.

· Planning and Analysis: Partners with more senior analysts to provide business analysis to the department, teams, and customers regarding business solutions including business needs, requirements, options, risks, and limitations.

· Lead and implement administrative process improvement for the department. Serve as backup for the departmental purchasing specialist as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of operations support experience. Experience managing small/medium size projects required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic and day-to-day operational and technical aspects of multiple projects while effectively meeting deadlines.
  • Engage effectively at all levels of the organizations; collaborate productively with peers, partners, leaders, staff and consultants; exercise sound judgment and influence appropriately to drive the work forward.
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication skills are needed. The ability to work autonomously and exercise independent judgment is required.
  • A broad knowledge of computer technologies is required, including the ability to learn quickly and work closely with IT engineers, analysts and vendors.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to analyze requirements and processes.
  • Proven success in working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment is required.
  • Knowledge of physical security best practices and experience administering badge and video surveillance systems desired. Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information by learning and following all relevant policies and protocols and using sound judgment in the handling and sharing of that information.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects; close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function.   • Local travel as well as occasional out of town travel may be required. Driving on Casey business may require use of personal vehicle; adherence to vehicle safety guidelines and qualification for insurance is required. 

Casey Family Programs requires a COVID-19 vaccination for in-person work. Therefore, all employees will be required to present proof of vaccination status unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption. 

This position is based at our Seattle Headquarters.

The base salary for this role in Seattle, WA is $62,600 to $73,700 annually.

Casey Family Programs offers benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, health and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts, eligibility for 403(b) and 401(a) retirement plans, disability, basic life, employee assistance plan and business travel insurance. Additionally, employees are eligible to accrue paid time off, starting at 8 hours per month of annual leave and 8 hours of sick time per month in the first year of employment. Casey Family Programs also observes 10 paid holidays per year and each employee receives one personal holiday to use each calendar year. Employees that meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care. After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time employment, employees in good standing are eligible for a three-month sabbatical with pay. Casey Family Programs also offers many opportunities for continued learning, training, and development.
