Position Summary
- Work in an extremely safe manner, following all safety rules and regulations.
- Use hand and power tools, such as rubber mallets, pneumatic drills, ratchet drivers, staple guns and screw guns, to assemble products.
- Read and use production paperwork to identify and locate product parts and corresponding hardware.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Visually inspect parts / products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Wipe down finished products.
- Adhere to 6-S by maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Understand, embrace and adhere to the principles of Lean, and participate in Lean events when available. Use Lean tools and processes to identify and eliminate waste
- Support and uphold the company’s values – Teamwork, Integrity, Positive Attitude, Achievement and Growth.
- Develop teamwork by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all employees and business contacts.

Qualification Requirements
- Ability to use small hand and power tools.
- Ability to read, comprehend and correctly interpret production paperwork.
- Ability to read and determine accurate measurements using metric measuring tape.
- Ability to consistently perform manual labor and heavy lifting and to sustain physical work activities, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending and walking.
- Good attendance, work performance and safety records.
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work extra hours as needed, sometimes on short notice.
