Construction/Painter Position Available

Full time experienced painter position available for an established professional property management company located in West San Jose. This position is responsible for providing a full range of skilled taping, painting and finishing on a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person with a positive attitude who takes pride in their own workmanship to add to our growing construction team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the painting trade including hanging drywall, taping, texture and painting.
• Seal joints to prepare wall surface for painting
• Spread sealing compound between boards, panels, crack, nail/screw heads
• Ability to apply paints and finishes neatly and accurately
• Ability to mix paints and finishes and match colors
• Ability to erect and work on ladders
• Ability to select the most appropriate materials
• Reliable transportation and tools is a must
• Interior and exterior experience preferred
• Proficiency in basic general construction and remodeling
• 3 years of experience in the construction industry preferred
• Able to lift 50 lbs

Requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Your own registered vehicle, proof of car insurance and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
