The schedule for this position is a overnight shift, Monday - Thursday 9:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.. There are three residential treatment homes within Clackamas County, in Oregon City or Gladstone. A shift differential may also be included, depending on the shift you work. Both Swing and overnight shifts are provided with a shift pay differential in addition to the hourly wage when clocking in; swing is .50 cents and overnight is $1.00.
Choice Model programs have a goal to divert individuals from Oregon State Hospital (OSH); coordinate successful discharge from OSH into appropriate community placements; coordinate care for individuals residing primarily in licensed residential facilities in order to move individuals into the least restrictive housing possible; and care coordinates and develops supports to
Mental Health Aides work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment for residents within the residential facility. This position involves participation and implementation of program goals and objectives to promote a strengths-based, client centered approach to assisting residents in achieving individual goals and ultimately transitioning to a less restrictive setting. The work requires one to stay awake and aware on all shifts. Shifts are day, swing and overnight shifts and occasional mid shifts. These are typically eight hours shifts. When applying, candidate location and availability will be taken into consideration as well as the consideration of program needs. The location of these programs are mostly located in Clackamas County, Oregon City area, with the exception of one in Wilsonville and one in NW Portland.
