Our mission is to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Informaticist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.
Job Overview: The Clinical Informaticist will be instrumental in building and teaching user interfaces to our staff, improving patient records management systems, and facilitating communication between IT professionals and healthcare providers. This role is vital in supporting our vision of integrated care, implementing trauma-informed and person-first approaches, and fostering an inclusive, safe, and accepting work environment.
Essential Duties:
  • Coordinate application system implementations and upgrades that support patient care functions.
  • Analyze healthcare workflow, design, and develop clinical information solutions.
  • Develop training plans and materials, and conduct training sessions for staff on the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for EHR systems.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and participate in safety drills and compliance training.
Qualifications:
  • Education:Active state medical or nursing license, or certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center preferred. Epic Builder Certification and Certification in Health Informatics are advantageous.
  • Experience:Minimum three years in a medical or clinical setting. Experience with OCHIN Epic is preferred.
  • Skills:Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, healthcare workflows, and basic data science. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
