Cascade Hospital for Animals is in search of a new team member that possesses a team player mentality and positive attitude, along with a strong background in customer service and the ability to move at a fast pace. Experience with pets is a plus!

Our multiservice animal hospital seeks a candidate with year-round availability for part time or full time work. As a Pet Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to care for both dogs and cats in our boarding and daycare facility. Responsibilities include

• giving baths
• administering food, water, and medications,
• cleaning cages
• assisting with restraint
• loving on our pets!

It is essential for our new team member to

• love animals
• be over 18 years old
• be able to work up to 2 Saturdays a month
• have full availability on Mondays
• be comfortable using a computer
• be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• walk, bend, or stand for extended periods of time
• work at both of our locations (Cascade Hospital for Animals & Breton Village Animal Clinic)
• be comfortable handling cats and dogs

Our hospital has been serving the community since 1955. As the Cascade area has grown over the years, so have we, from a small farmhouse clinic to a large, multi service hospital with a satellite clinic in the Breton Village area. We love being able to provide exceptional medicine and service for the pets and people of the Grand Rapids area! We employ around 100 staff members including both locations.
