Cascade Christian Schools, a high quality, independent, interdenominational school system, is accepting applications for a Marketing and Communication Assistant.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Attend special school events for photography and videography
  • Designing graphics and art using Adobe software (ie: InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop etc.)
  • Logowear store and logo item coordination
  • Update and maintain site in coordination with campuses
  • Search engine optimization
  • Create and track purchase orders
  • Weekly district-wide communications (Chronicle, email, weekly, newsletters)
  • Assist with advertising
  • Events Support
  • Campus and Department support (Marketing, Admissions, Development, Business, International)
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing and/or Communications, preferred
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher)
  • Website Administration experience
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills: spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Have the ability and desire to service as a Christian role model
  • Pleasant demeanor and positive attitude
  • Ability to listen, hear, and carry out oral and written instructions; work independently
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to attend staff devotions
START DATE:
ASAP

Work Hours:

10-15 hours per week

Salary Range:

$22.25-$25.00 per hour depending on experience.
