Prism Health is the only nonprofit LGBTQIA health center providing comprehensive primary care, behavioral healthcare, and pharmacy services in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, and Idaho). Since opening its doors in 2017, Prism Health has become a model for culturally specific care and now serves over 1,500 patients with a wide range of services, from day-to-day primary care and pharmacy needs to targeted services like gender-affirming care and specialized population health screenings. Prism and CAP are excited to announce that we are hiring an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist. The Behavioral Health Therapist (BHT) is responsible for providing evaluations, including initial intake assessments, formulating mental health and substance use diagnoses, and identifying appropriate treatment services for LGBTQ clients; people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS; and the community at large.
This full-time position and will work at Prism Health in SE Portland or NE Portland. Travel throughout the county as well as evening and weekend work are occasionally required. There are three tiers to the behavioral health therapist role at Prism Health. Classification of BHT I, II, or III is dependent on credentialing and scope of practice (or work). The starting compensation for Behavioral Health Therapists is I $60,403.20 annually, II $64,563.20 annually, III $68,723.20 annually. This is a non-management, union-represented position. The compensation, benefits, and conditions of work for this position are collectively bargained.
We are looking for multiple BHT positions that will have staggered start dates. This role can be fully remote if credentials/licensing are valid for Oregon.
