The Gift and Community Engagement Officer is a professional responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with major donors to secure substantial financial support for the organization. Here are the responsibilities:

1. Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management:
   • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential major donors who have the capacity to make significant financial contributions.
   • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with current and prospective donors through regular communication, meetings, and events.
2. Fundraising Strategy:
   •  Implement fundraising strategies to solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
   • Collaborate with the fundraising team and senior leadership to align major gift strategies with overall fundraising goals.
3. Proposal Development:
   • Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the interests and preferences of major donors.
   • Work closely with clinical program managers and other staff to gather information on projects and initiatives that require funding
4. Stewardship:
   • Ensure timely and meaningful acknowledgment of major gifts.
   • Implement stewardship activities to engage donors and keep them informed about the impact of their contributions.
   • Host stewardship events
5. Research:
   • Conduct prospect research to identify potential major donors and assess their capacity and inclination to give.
6. Data Management:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor interactions in the Razor’s Edge database.
   • Create and analyze reports on the progress of major gift and employee giving fundraising efforts.

7.. Employee giving

• In charge or employee giving “ mother smith giving program” helping to build staff participation to support programs and services at Casa Colina

8. Community sponsorships

• Working in conjuncture with senior leadership to coordinate and approve community funding requests.

9. Third party fundraising

• When appropriate working with key community members to raise funds and awareness for Casa Colina services

10. Supporting Casa Colina Events

• Actively participate in helping to achieve sponsorships for events
• Help to support events team

11. Other activities as needed

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Two (2) years of fundraising experience

This position will be in person Monday – Friday, some weekends will be required based on events schedules
