Thriving Audiology Practice Seeks Audiologist

Cary Audiology Associates is seeking a full-time audiologist to join its busy and well-established practice in Cary, North Carolina. Cary is a community of more than 187,000 residents in the heart of the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. In addition to Cary, the Triangle includes Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. The Cary Audiology team is comprised of two passionate and personable full-time Doctors of Audiology who are interested in adding another audiologist who is like minded and wants to fully embrace diagnostics, as well as hearing aid fittings and aural rehabilitation. We are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of education and service, while connecting with them in a meaningful and professional way. Evidence-based practice is at the center of every decision we make and treatment we choose. We are invested in hiring a team member who is also committed to a collaborative and positive workplace culture that also believes deeply in giving back to our community and the greater hearing-impaired community worldwide.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, outgoing and team oriented. The candidate should have an interest in understanding entrepreneurship and genuinely care about learning how a business operates. Candidate must be highly motivated and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate is expected to follow the protocols of Best Practices for Audiology.

Skills expected to have mastered:

· Audiometry

· Speech in Noise testing

· Immittance testing – tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, decay

· DPOAEs – diagnostic and screening protocols

· Tinnitus measurement, management, and counseling,

· Cerumen management

· Cognitive Screening

· Real Ear Measurement

· Electroacoustic Analysis of hearing instruments

Preferred, but open to training the right candidate:

· Understanding of Lyric and Lyric fittings

· Cochlear implant evaluations and programming

Salary is commensurate with experience. Compensation includes generous paid holidays and PTO, an allowance for continuing education, retirement benefits and a stipend for health insurance.
