Under the direction of the Social Services Child and Family Unit Supervisor, this position will focus on child maltreatment related assessments and investigations to include: assessing safety, planning for initial immediate safety, stability, and well-being of children; developing safety and crisis plans with clients; establishing a network of individuals to be involved with clients for safety and support; conducting assessments and making referrals for further evaluation of client needs; providing case management services and coordinating interventions, services, and treatments for identified client needs; collaborating with other professionals, providers, and authorities involved with clients to coordinate care and measure progress over time; performing required tools and documentation to meet mandates and outline efforts to meet client needs; and performing public relations, public outreach services, and trainings related to specific program areas.
All applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, scored and ranked. The highest ranked candidates meeting minimum qualifications will be recommended for the scored oral examinations (interviews). Final selection for the position will include successful completion of written exercise, oral interview(s), reference checks, and background investigation, including 604 verification and MNDHS NETStudy 2.0 background.
