Job Description

Cartier Nails & Spa LLC is looking for a Nail Technician! We are a top of the line nail salon that provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for our employees. We are looking for a team player who is willing to work hard to be successful in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent nail care services (e.g. nail polish, gel nail, acrylic)
• Clean and prepare nails for painting or acrylic treatment according to the instructions of the technician
• Apply top coat and gel polish (e.g. acrylic, french, gel)
• Prepare and apply nail glue according to the instructions of the technician
• Apply nail strengthener and strengtheners with instructions from the technician
• Apply acrylic acrylic gel nails according to the instructions of the technician
• Work with various tools (e.g. file, polish remover, etc.)to ensure that the client’s nails look perfect at all times
• Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times
• Communicate effectively with your team members to provide excellent service

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as Nail Technician or similar role in related field
• Excellent knowledge of basic nail techniques and artistry methods (e.g. polishing, cutting, filing, etc.)and ability to understand how nails look from a visual point of view
• Working knowledge of sanitizing agents and topcoat removal techniques
• Ability to take care of clients with respect and dignity while providing excellent customer service (e.g. making sure they are comfortable, clean, comfortable enough for nails to be filed, etc.)
• Willingness to be a team player with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
