Carters Care Services is Hiring a Part Time Nurse Near Crest Hill, IL
Toddler aged female patient looking for a nurse who will care for her they way a mom would be proud. Acknowledge her as a person, not a patient.
Speak to her before engaging in care as well as working to buld rapport with family. The nurse must be comfortable with doing age appropriate developmental activities. Currently patient does have a vent, Trach and GTube.
We are looking for nurses to provide 5-Star nursing care, but also be companion who can help nurture learning and growth. We want self -starters, and those that can complete task/charting every 2hrs., no need in taking work home. Are you detailed orientated, and a natural problem solver and have a great personality? Does everyone get happier when you walk in the room? Are you looking for an opportunity to help pediatric patients live full and complete lives.
If so, we are Carters Care Services, a nursing agency and we want to talk to you. Interviews being conducted now via phone. All orientation and training is paid.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Valid & Active Illinois Nursing License
Current CPR, issued by AHA or Red Cross
Current Hep B test within last 9 months
Current TB Test Results within last 9 months
Health Physical within last 9 months
Must pass DCFS screenings and mandatory reporting training
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to travel up to 45 minutes to provide care for the patient
Experienced caring for patients with feeding tubes, min 6 months
Experienced caring for patients with vents and trachs, min 6 months
Experience in the home setting or school setting with pediatric patients is a strong plus

Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
