CMA's Apprentice Technician Program

Apprentice Technician Responsibilities:

• Commitment to learning your craft
• Regular goal-setting / review with Service Advisor & Master Technician
• Completion of Technical Program
• High School Diploma preferred
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Apprentice Syllabus (On the job training modules)

• Oil changes (checks), fluid checks, belt & hose inspection 200 hours
• Coolant flushes, transmission service, AC recharges, power steering flushes 300 hours
• Customer service, shop / employee communication skills, leadership training 1000 hours
• Drain oil, check gear boxes, grease fittings, check fuel filters 200 hours
• Computer based training (OEM modules) 300 hours

Total hours: 2000

Pay Range $14 - $16/hour with the goal of completing the program and turning flat-rate hours in the main shop.
