We are seeking a talented and passionate Part Time Arts Teacher to join our team. As an Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging arts lessons for students. You will foster a love for the arts and inspire creativity in our students through various artistic mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive arts lessons that align with curriculum standards and objectives
- Teach students fundamental skills in areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Provide guidance and support to students in exploring their own artistic interests and talents
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and collaboration
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and incorporate arts into other subjects
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and practices in arts education to continually enhance teaching methodologies
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a strong school community
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience teaching arts to students of varying ages and abilities
- Strong knowledge and skills in various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Ability to engage and inspire students through creative and innovative teaching methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students
- Current knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices in arts education
