The Technical Analyst I will be the first point of contact for local support for various hardware and software needs of the business office and collaborates with support for the shop with IT engineers.
What you’ll do as a Technical Analyst I:
- Primary point of contact regarding IT-related questions, issues, and problems for all local employees.
- IT On Boarding Lead, you will introduce and train new hires on the technology they’ll use in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Maintains, analyzes/troubleshoots, repairs, upgrades, and distributes computer systems, hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and other computer peripherals.
- Works in conjunction with North American and Global IT for supporting local projects and infrastructure.
- Documents, maintains, and shares critical information to appropriate internal staff.
- Supports and maintains user/system account status, such as account creation and lock/unlock, for various systems as well as group/rights management.
- Learn from engineers and assist with supporting business specific applications for the office and shop floor.
- Reports progress and takes direction from a project leader, manager, or supervisor.
- Works closely with other personnel on the team; shares information; maintains contact with others if needing help or if help is needed.
- Provide end user training for employees.
- Able to review workloads, prioritize activities, and self-motivate to complete assignments while escalating cases requiring consideration to supervision.
- Promotes industry standard operating procedures based on experience and teamwork to complete assignments, and research through varying techniques to discover new and better solutions as part of problem solving.
- Maintain contact with specific vendors for coordinating external support.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks within a timeline.
- Support connectivity such as internet and VPN connections.
- Maintains inventory of IT assets including documenting, storing, shipping, and maintenance.
- Moves IT assets between physical locations as needed by employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for a Technical Analyst I with:
- Associate degree and 2 years of experience or a minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT field
- Certifications in A , Network required Security additionally preferred.
- Familiar with a variety of various IT field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Familiar with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network technology.
- Familiar with troubleshooting and observation tools such as Wireshark, Ping, tracing, NSLookup, Netstat, Log managers, Task Manager, Powercfg, Resource Monitor, Sysinternals, Windows Update Troubleshooter, etc.
- Knowledge of advanced software deployment techniques, remote administration and configuration, security & compliance, cloud storage, data backup and transfer techniques, performance tuning, and policy management. Additional knowledge in network storage, virtualization, and databases are a plus.
- Experienced with Active Directory management or similar tools.
- Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols.
- Experience and background in Manufacturing a plus.
- Positive personality that welcomes and enjoys working with all types of customers while being timely and staying focused on customer needs.
- Ability to learn quickly, stay focused on goals, adapt to change, and work under pressure.
- Experience with a combination of modern Windows and MAC end user equipment and operating systems, basic servers, data collection units or thin terminals, scanners, multifunction and label printers, mobile devices, projectors, video panels/DVRs, wireless access points, and Avaya or equivalent telephone systems management.
- Familiar and disciplined to work within modern ticketing systems for independently tracking of assignments and work progress.
- Knowledge of industrial label printers and label printing software is a plus.
- Strong usage and support skills for Office 365 applications that includes advanced utility of Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge and experience supporting Adobe Creative Cloud Suite products.
- Communication skills that include responsible reporting, positive customer service, and mutual respect to promote dependable teamwork.
- Scripting knowledge such as PowerShell or Javascript is a big plus.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected with problem solving.
- On call required and after hours support occasionally necessary.
- Must be able to regularly lift and move heavy boxes of equipment up to at least 40 lbs.
- Strong usage of English. Additional knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
- Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
- Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
- Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
- This position is located on-site in our Erlanger, KY facility
