Our auto body technicians are responsible for the consistent delivery of high quality and accurate repairs. Body Technicians are expected to understand and follow written guidelines set by the auto manufacturer. This individual must be able to weld, straighten and measure complex automotive body structures. Our organization has blue print/ repair plan teams that dismantle and reassemble most of the vehicles prior to arriving at the body department. This allows for more consistent flow of highly skilled repairs with less down time and allows for increased repair efficiency, Putting more money in your pocket.
The ideal candidate receiving top pay will have I-car welding certifications and I-car structural and body pro level 1 or greater.
Commission based pay recommended but not required for this position. We have commission based body technicians making well north of $100,000 a year. These individuals have a mindset of extremely high quality efficient work practices, consistently training and challenging themselves, and an intense understanding of vehicle repair technologies. And they have lives outside of the shop walls, averaging around 40 hour work weeks!
