Busy Optometrist office looking for a friendly, motivated, team player to join our optical staff at Pleasant Optics. We also have offices in Alma, Mt. Pleasant and St. Louis. We are growing fast! We are looking for someone that would like to work full time and is willing to help in all aspects of our office with an emphasis on optician work. Optical experience is strongly preferred and EHR knowledge is helpful. However, we are willing to train the right candidate. Join our Optics family today!

Responsibilities will include:

*Assisting with frame selection

*Fitting/adjusting frames

*Advise patients on various lens types and features

*Instructing patients on the use of contact lenses

*Receiving payments for services/goods

*Utilizing insurances for goods and services

*Verifying vision/medical insurance benefits

*Answering phones

*Scheduling appointments

*Performing various tasks

**Retail experience is helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
