Essential Functions

• Functions as a health care team member.
• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of individuals and groups.
• Participates in the development and modification of the plans of care.
• Implements care strategies within the LVN scope of practice.
• Renders safe care and participates in evaluation of responses to care interventions.
• Delegates activities within the LVN scope of practice and performs additional functions for which the LVN has been trained.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing
• Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in a medical surgical care setting is preferred.
• Requires current state license (LVN) in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing.
• BLS is required upon hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
