Local family owned independent automotive-mechanical repair shop is looking for an individual experienced in selling automotive mechanical repairs and service who is personable, and professional minded with a minimum, verifiable, 20 years experience as an automotive service advisor.

Requirements:

4. Excellent knowledge of automotive systems- any ASE certifications, A1 through A8, is a plus.

5. Experience using computerized automotive estimating software.

6. Quiet home office.

7. Fast, reliable internet service is a must, as all our software is cloud-based.

The applicant must have an extensive technical understanding of all major automotive systems, which would allow him or her the ability to knowledgeably review our technician’s inspections, and add to those inspections the necessary annotation and captions required to communicate the problems with the customer’s vehicles in layman’s terms, in a comprehensive and concise manner. This would be done using cloud-based automotive estimating software/Point-of-Sale system. The applicant would be responsible for sourcing parts electronically via integrated parts catalog and by phone, as needed.

Flexible work hours. Remote, variable part-time (exact hours to be determined) Monday thru Saturday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time).

We will provide the computer and VOiP shop phone accesses with your own direct shop phone number displaying our company name on your caller id.

Must have the ability to train on-site before beginning part-time work from home.

Must have the ability to work on-site, as needed, in order to fill in when on-site service advisors are on vacation.
