Sr. Manager - Corporate Accounting

Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Accounting, the Corporate Accounting Senior Manager is responsible for the review of daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions. This position provides supervision and development of the Corporate Accounting Supervisor, Senior Accountant and the Digital Systems Analyst.

Summary of Key Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the month-end close process including the review of journal entries and the monitoring and reporting of close status.
• Responsible for the review of monthly account reconciliations.
• Responsible for review of the monthly P&L analysis of actuals vs budget explanations.
• Review monthly reporting packages which summarize operating results of the business.
• Prepare annual budgets for various GL accounts.
• Responsible for documentation of procedures and recommendations for improvements.
• Review new departments, accounts and hierarchy changes and other reporting structure updates to the accounting system.
• Responsible for proper execution of internal controls.
• Provide support for internal and external auditors for quarterly, interim and year-end requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects or analyses.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in Accounting required. CPA preferred.
• 5-7 years related work experience required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Possess strong Microsoft application skills including Excel.
• Knowledge of People Soft preferred.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
