Finance Intern

Carrols Corporation (NASDAQ: TAST) headquartered in Syracuse, NY is one of the largest restaurant franchisees in the US. Founded over 60 years ago, Carrols is the largest BURGER KING® franchisee in the US today. Carrols owns and operates over 1,000 BURGER KING® restaurants and over 65 POPEYES® restaurants across 23 states and currently employs over 30,000 people.

We want to cultivate and grow a high-quality internship program that provides valuable experiences to students in the communities where we operate. 

We are excited to hire a Finance Intern for our 2024 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Office in Syracuse.

The Paid Internship Program will run from June 3rd-August 18th.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial forecasting and analysis while contributing to the development of our 2025 budget.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the finance team to assist in forecasting and analyzing financial data.
• Utilize Excel and other relevant tools to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Support the development of the 2025 budget by preparing financial models and projections.
• Assist in creating and maintaining financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a well-accredited university pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, functions, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
