Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
    License to practice nursing in Texas, preferred
Position responsibilities:
Job Summary
The position supports the achievement of quality and patient safety priorities through patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement projects. This will identify and evaluate the quality and risk event management. Develop and maintain the quality and risk management metric.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
    Assists staff and management in the determination of reliable, valid, and measurable quality and patient safety indicators.
    Assists with the development of comprehensive, effective clinical program which meets regulatory standards.
    Promotes comprehensive treatment approach working with multidisciplinary team to effectively manage patient care through the continuum and provide quality outcome.
    Collaborates with department leaders, assists in oversight of ongoing daily operations.
    Researches and recommends changes and improvements with a primary focus on patient outcomes.
    Will leveraging risks at level of processes to support proactive improvement following auditing strategies.
    Collaborates with Quality/Risk Manager to assure information used in analysis and process or performance improvement includes the privacy and confidentiality protection afforded by law.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS Must have a working knowledge of key quality and regulatory organizations, such as the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (Joint Commission), the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information acquired in the course of duties. Knowledgeable in the quality improvement initiative assigned including purpose of initiative, key elements, indicators, reporting, problem resolution and communicating results. Why CRMC?
