What You’ll Do as Associate Chaplainat Carroll Lutheran Village:

• Provide pastoral care to residents including but not limited to visitations (on and off site), crisis intervention, caregiver support, end of life decision making, advance funeral planning, advance directive consultation
• Create and conduct worship services that are in keeping with our Lutheran tradition.
• Provide small group opportunities for devotionals, retreat, education, etc.
• Attend committee, board, resident, and satff meetings as requested
• Make a real differenece in the lives of some very special people!

Qualifications

As a Chaplain at CLV, You'll use your:

• Graduate degree from an accredited seminary or related graduate school.
• Inclusion on, or eligibiliyt for, the active roster of Ordained Ministers of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, or one of it's full-communion partners. the ELCA is in full-communiion relationships with the Episcopal Chruch, the United Methodist Church, the Reformed Church in America, the United Church of Christ, and Moravian Church, and the Presbyterian Church USA. 
• Strong internpersonal skills and ability and willingness to work with people of other faiths
• Membership with a community of faith
• Demonstration of pastoral skills in meeting the needs of older adults.
