What we're looking for: A Dental Assisting Instructor at our Sacramento Campus.

What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $30.00-$42.00 per hour. Our benefits program for part-time colleagues (working at least 20 hours per week) includes paid vacation and state-compliant sick leave. Faculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Faculty members facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi. Instructors are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director and/or Campus Director.

Do you qualify? Yes, if you have experience in your field! Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field and meet the below qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

• Dental Assisting Certificate of Achievement
• CA Registered Dental Assistant held for minimum 2 years and must be current;
• Certificates that must be indicated on License: X-ray and all RDA required certificates such as coronal Polish, Pit and Fissure, Infection Control;
• Professional Certifications:
• CPR ( In CA, it must be AHA or ARC)
• Radiation Health and Safety certification: AZ, NM, OR

Schedule:

• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM; any additional hours will ne determined by the campus as needed.
