Position: Caregiver (Part-Time - Overnight Shift)

Pay: Starting at $13 per hour

Certifications Required: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description:

Carriage House Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on a part-time basis for overnight shifts. As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized assistance and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
• Administer medications to residents as directed by licensed nursing staff.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition or behavior and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Escort residents to appointments, activities, and outings as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain confidentiality of resident information.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role preferred.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina and ability to assist residents with lifting, bending, and transferring.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Dedication to providing high-quality care and promoting residents' dignity and independence.
