Full time and part time veterinary receptionist wanted for well-established veterinary hospital. Veterinary/medical office experience preferred.
Duties to include
-Being a team player, we all help each other when needed
- Answering the phone and providing exceptional customer service, being in the veterinary field we can sometimes come across customers who are under emotional stress worrying about their pets and being able to gracefully handle those situations is a must.
- Greeting clients checking in for appointments or coming in to pick up medication
- Checking out clients after their appointments or who come to pick up medication. cash handling skills is a must
-Intake/discharge of surgeries with confidence and accuracy
- We are a paperless practice so computer skills are required ( For reference we use Avimark at the moment, prior experience with Avimark is plus
- Knowledge of basic office equipment, Printers, scanners, multi-line phones.
- Be open and willing to learn new things
-Basic understanding of canine and feline vaccines is a plus
-Morning cleaning and end of day cleaning. Everyone pitches in to ensure we provide a safe and clean workplace.
-Occasionally assist the technicians and/or doctors
Must be available to work weekdays , some days until 7 pm and some Saturday mornings until 1 pm.
