Marketing Coordinator

Carr Hardware & Supply Inc. is a small, fast-growing company in Pittsfield, MA. We are a family-owned, locally-owned business that is passionate about providing the highest quality of care and service to our residents.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for leading the marketing efforts of the company, including but not limited to marketing materials, social media content creation, website content creation, and community outreach.

You will also be responsible for creating and managing the marketing calendar for the company’s website and social media accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Create and manage marketing calendar and budget for website, social media accounts, email marketing campaigns, etc.
• Create and manage marketing materials including flyers, postcards, brochures, etc.
• Create social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms as needed.
• Create content for website including blog posts and monthly newsletter posts.
• Work with the team to create monthly product announcements on the website and social media accounts.
• Work with the team to create a monthly email marketing campaign that includes company news, product announcements, and other relevant information.
• Work with the team to create monthly community outreach that includes social media posts on the website and social platforms as well as email marketing campaigns on behalf of the company.
• Assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and adjust accordingly.
• Build Carr brand ensuring consistency across all locations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualities

• Prior marketing and advertising experience
• Proficiency with the following, Adobe suite (indesign, photoshop, illlustrator)
• Strong ability to write copy and design layouts
• Strong graphic design, website design, website maintenance capabilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly organized
• Deadline driven
• Preference for working in a very fast-paced environment
• A working as a team mentality a must
• Adherence to a very high work ethic
