Carpenter & Costin is seeking a dedicated Landscape Team Member to join our team and help us create stunning outdoor spaces. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality service, continuous learning, and teamwork. As a Landscape Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team leader in daily operations, maintaining open and positive communication with team leaders and area managers, and contributing to overall productivity. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a diverse range of tasks and ample opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team leader in executing daily tasks
- Maintain open and positive communication with team leaders and area managers
- Contribute to team and individual productivity
- Perform basic landscape services including turf maintenance, pruning, weeding, plant health care, and debris removal
- Participate in seasonal tasks such as snow removal and spring/fall cleanups
- Ensure punctuality and proper uniform attire
- Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Responsible for the care and proper usage of equipment and crew mobile
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor at all times
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to accept and respond positively to constructive criticism
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, squatting, lifting, pulling, and climbing
- Valid and insurable driver’s license
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $16 to $21 per hour.
