Position Summary (Purpose): Carousel’s Soft Serve Icery, located at Tropicana Field, is looking for a few more stadium hawkers / vendors to sell our popular frozen dessert. Our Soft Serve Ice is a fan favorite and is easy to sell. We pay a commission of $1 per cup sold and $1.50 per cup after 100 cups sold. Our commission is the highest in the stadium!

2023 Stats for Hawkers

• Highest amount earned in a game: $572 ($272 commission $300 tips)
• Highest average payout per game: $278 per game (during 50 games)
• Number of times a hawker earned $250 in a game: 59 times

What is a "hawker"?

The people who walk up and down the stands selling our frozen dessert.

Product is made for you so you just show up and SELL.

Pay Structure

• Earn $1 commission per cup sold. If you sell 100 cups, we pay you $100 at the end of the game. Each game, every time. $1.50 for each cup sold after 100 cups (this happened many times last year)
• We pay a much higher commission than competitors (beer, popcorn, etc.)
• MLB Attendees are very generous! Lots of tips paid out as well.

Who are we looking for?

• High energy, hustle and great customer service
• People motivated by getting paid for their performance
• Ages 15
• Can carry 20 lbs. and walk up and down stadium stairs

The game dates and times are listed on the Tampa Bay Rays website. Most of the games are in the evening.

Pay: $140.00 - $572.00 per day

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
