CaroMont Health is hiring a Full-time Nurse Manager to work Day shifts within our Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) team at the CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC!

Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000 based on experience!

Nurse Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, coordinate and evaluate operations of the department.
• Maintains 24hr accountability for staff and department performance.
• Participates in organization-wide coordination of patient care and integration of departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission, goals and CARES values.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Professional nursing certification as defined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) within 18 months of hire.
• At least 2 years of progressive nursing management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of general nursing principles, methods, and techniques.
• Demonstrated skills in performing nursing procedures; ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, department heads, and families/visitors.
• Significant ability to coach, mentor, and manage staff.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, or PALS as required by specialty area.
