Job Summary: Provides leadership for operations of assigned imaging areas in support of organizational mission and strategic goals. Responsibilities include efficient management of staffing and equipment resources, technical and clinical quality supervision, excellent service delivery, equipment planning, compliance with licensure and regulatory standards, and achievement of budgetary, departmental and organizational goals. This position supports the Director of Imaging Services in all aspects of Imaging operations and initiatives. Performs competent review of quality dashboards and key performance indicators to ensure accuracy and support compliance. Takes initiative and problem solves with others while serving as resource to Imaging Services staff and customers.
Qualifications: Associate degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent required. Current license to practice in NC. Bachelor's degree in health administration, business management or Radiologic Sciences strongly preferred. ARRT, CNMT, or ARDMS registered.A minimum of two years of progressive supervisory and managerial experience in a radiology imaging discipline. Five or more years of recent experience in both hospital and outpatient management preferred.Knowledge of radiographic testing procedures.Considerable skill and technical understanding of multiple imaging service technologies.Proven ability to effectively maintain safety and quality standards in management of resources to meet budget and regulatory requirements. Significant ability to exercise independent judgment, manage and motivate staff and effectively communicate with all customers. Commitment to remaining aware of and effectively planning for and responding to healthcare environment changes. Additional preferred skills/qualifications include: Knowledge of quality improvement processes and measurement techniques. Experience in Microsoft Office Applications. Three or more years clinical experience in acute care setting. Experience with data analysis, data management, and generating visual and written reports. Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required for the position.
