Job Summary: The Focused Observer Supervisor will perform diversified activities to organize and coordinate the day to day operations of the Focused Observer program.This would include administrative activities, including but not limited to Focused Observer scheduling, Focused Observer orientation, ongoing education, annual competencies/training, interviewing and hiring, performance evaluations, coompleting payroll, maintaining accurate records associated with the Focused Observer program, and addressing disciplinary issues. The Focused Observer Supervisor will be the liaison to the Nursing Director.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.The Focused Observer Supervisor must meet all of the criteria for a Focused Observer.  Requires advanced knowledge and proficiency of computer software applications. Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment. Effective interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with all levels of staff and external contacts. Effective oral and written communication skills.Good judgment, critical thinking skills, and strong problem solving skills.Excellent organizational skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively. Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all personal/health sensitive information. In addition, the applicant must possess a thorough knowledge of the Focused Observer program, have demonstrated leadership abilities, the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees, and create a positive work environment.
