Job Summary: Assists the Practice Administrator in the day to day supervision of the activities of the clinical members of the Float Pool - including preparing staff schedules and assignments measuring competency, providing training of newly hired clinical personnel, and providing Safety Champion responsibilities to the department. Working in collaboration with the Practice Administrator, displays leadership and coordinates activities of the Float Pool in accordance with CMG standards and clinical policies and procedures as sthey pertain to the clinic offices and patient care. Coordinates patient care and daily clinical operations consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission, vision, and values. Provides dayto day support to the Physicians, Staff and other members of the health care team at various offices to provide quality patient care through Float Pool clinical membership.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. BLS required. Has three years clinical experience as a Medical Assistant and current certificate/registration, or has less than three years experience with an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting with current certification/registration. Current credentialing (certification/registration). Must maintain credentialing with American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA-CMA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT-RMA).. Able to deal tactfully with all levels of staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families. Ability to supervise, coach, and provide motivated environment. Provides leadership in collaboration with Practice Administrator of the Float Pool.
