DSP/CNA/CMT Overnight Supervision/Personal Support Position/Rockville,
Maryland

Schedule is:

Sunday/Mnday/Tuesday: 8:00PM-7:45AM

Woman in Rockville, MD seeking a DSP for personal support and overnight supervision. This is a highly engaged position supporting this woman in her neighborhood, community and home.

Personal Support includes:
Assistance with transfers, positioning, bathing, dressing, diapering, bowel management, meal preparation, eating, organization of paperwork and support with communication device. Assistance with computer and iPad for learning and entertainment.
Time overlaps with other co-workers to assure good communication among the team. Recording daily information and notes, attending team meetings, and providing back up to other staff if possible.

Overnight Supervision includes:
Preparing for and following emergency evacuation plan in the event of an emergency, responding during the night if needed, position changes.

Licenses and Certifications

● CPR and Basic Life Support/1st Aid Certification required.
● Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Qualifications

● Comfort and use of technology and applications including computer, iPad, and communication device. Prior experience with alternative computer access and/or speech generating devices a big plus!

● Successful applicants will have personal or professional experience supporting with someone with personal care needs

● Successfully pass a background check and clean driving record

● Excellent communication skills
● Up to date vaccinations.
● Ideal candidate will work as a team member in a reliable, responsible, responsive, positive, creative, patient and problem-solving environment.

● Preference is given to candidates residing in Montgomery County

Salary, Benefits and Reimbursements

● Starting Pay range commensurate with experience starting at $25.00 per hour

● PTO equivalent to two work weeks
● Montgomery County Sick and Safe leave as required by law
