- Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas using forklifts.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas while maintaining proper inventory control.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Inspect and report any damage to materials or equipment.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum of one year of forklift operating experience.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work first shift hours.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
