Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our medical team. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and producing high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings as necessary
- Capture images of the designated area of interest
- Analyze images for quality and clarity, ensuring all necessary anatomical structures are visible
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information
- Maintain patient records and document procedures performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Extensive experience with obstetric and gynecologic (transvaginal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
