Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Huntersville is seeking skilled technicians and assistants for as-needed daytime and emergency relief coverage, as well several every-other-weekend daytime positions. Working PRN is a great way to gain specialty and emergency experience while expanding your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced learning environment! Our relief technicians and assistants work a minimum of 2 shifts per month including daytime and afterhours positions, and they enjoy the ability to work more shifts if their schedules allow.
** PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must have at least 1 year of experience as an assistant/technician or be a recent graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program to be considered for this position. **

What does this job look like?
Relief staff help out wherever they're needed! These team members are able to learn about the many different areas of medicine practiced in our hospital by filling shifts as they come available when full-time staff members take leave or call out. S/he will be able to work well as part of a team and will demonstrate a shared sense of responsibility among the different services within the hospital.
