Carolina Time- Service & Installation

A dynamic, progressive and nationally recognized Parking and Access Control company in the Southeast is seeking Experienced professional for the position of Field Service/Installer. Would prefer Access Control Experience more than anything, Electrical, Mechanical experience helpful as well.

Positions are available immediately at our following location: Burlington, NC

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include the service, support, and installation of:

• Access Control Systems including Card Readers, Building Access, Telephone Entry Systems and Gate Operators.
• Parking Control Systems such as Parking gates, Ticket dispensers, Automatic payment stations, etc.
• Low Voltage Systems
• CCTV Systems including Cameras, DVR's and NVR's
• Other responsibilities will include programming, commissioning and troubleshooting of these systems at customer locations, documenting service performed, performing scheduled preventive maintenance, and supporting service sales. The applicant will need to be able to read, interpret, and work from plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• Light travel occasionally to other offices with possible overnights.
• Job can be physically demanding due to working outside in the elements, technicians are outside summer through winter 80% of the time.

Qualifications and Skills

Parking and Access Control industry experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be able to learn in an accelerated manner and must possess strong customer support skills, technical aptitude, and computer skills accompanied by a positive attitude.

Mechanical knowledge a plus
