Description

We are looking for a professional HR Policy Writer to research, draft, and revise our company’s HR policies. 

Experience of at least 1–2 years as an HR Policy Writer or a similar role is required, as well as proven expertise in HR guidelines, standards, and policies. Our ideal candidate also has strong communication skills and attentiveness to details.

HR Policy Writer Responsibilities

• Interview program managers and stakeholders to gain an understanding of the department and company-wide procedures and operations.
• Assist managers and other company leaders in the technical writing of the HR policies based on our existing policies and procedures.
• Review, edit, and revise existing HR guidelines, policies, and manuals as necessary, keeping track of changes in HR policies.
• Ensure that all policies and manuals are written according to proper government regulations and industry standards.
• Research ways to improve existing policies and suggest ideas for improvement.
• Educate the staff on HR policies and help the onboarding team prepare training materials to increase awareness of HR compliance.
• Support the compliance and administration teams with administrative tasks as needed.
• Will be a liaison between compliance/Risk management and HR. 
• Some legal research may be required.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as an HR Policy Writer or a similar role
• Strong research skills and understanding of various HR policies, guidelines, and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen eye for detail and a strong ability to multitask. 
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using (Word or Google Docs) and spreadsheet programs Excel or Google Sheet)
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or similar.

Salary: $ 50,000 - $65,000
