Carolina Quick Care and Family Practice is Hiring a Traveling X-Ray Trainer Near Fayetteville, NC

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced X-ray professional to join our team as a Traveling X-Ray Trainer. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring urgent care clinics across North Carolina have well-trained medical assistants (MAs) in X-ray procedures. You will travel to various clinic locations within the state, providing comprehensive training programs on safe and efficient X-ray operation, positioning techniques, and image quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging X-ray training programs for medical assistants, tailored to their specific needs and experience level.
  • Instruct MAs on proper X-ray equipment operation, patient positioning, radiation safety protocols, and image acquisition techniques.
  • Evaluate and assess trainees' understanding and practical skills through written and practical assessments.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to MAs as they gain confidence in performing X-ray procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of X-ray technology, best practices, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures in the training environment.
  • Travel to various urgent care clinic locations across North Carolina.

Qualifications:

  • Certified and licensed X-ray technician (ARRT) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in training and development, ideally within the healthcare field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel overnight and work in various clinic locations throughout North Carolina.
