Carolina Phone and Alarms Inc. is Hiring an Alarm Technician Near Goldsboro, NC

Job Description

Carolina Phone and Alarms Inc. is looking for a full-time Installation Technician to join our team. The Installation Technician will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems in the Goldsboro, NC area.

Qualifications
·High school diploma or GED.
·At least 1 year of experience in the security industry, preferred.
·Able to lift 50 pounds.
·Able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
·Able to work well with others in a team environment.
·Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
·Must be able to handle physical work requirements, including but not limited to: lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and working with chemicals.
·Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights, as needed, as well as work on rooftops.
·Must be able to operate power tools and hand tools.
·Able to read and understand technical documents and instructions in English.
·Bilingual is a plus (Spanish English).

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair security systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and other related equipment.
- Perform field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Design and implement security system layouts based on schematics and customer requirements.
- Conduct system testing to ensure proper functionality and adherence to security standards.
- Collaborate with customers to provide system training and support as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to recommend system upgrades or enhancements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on security system installations and maintenance.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records for future reference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
