Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant Certified - Spine. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for collaborating with neurosurgeons and spine physicians in the evaluation, treatment, and management of neurosurgical and spine patients. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, providing patient education, and communicating effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Neuroscience and spine anatomy knowledge
• Prior experience as a Physician Assistant in a neurosurgery, spine, or general surgery setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound clinical judgments
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant and state licensure in South Carolina or eligible to obtain licensure in South Carolina
• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field
• Experience with EMR and EHR
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
