Responsibilities
- Develop optimal posting schedule and content calendar, including the brainstorming of creative, playful ideas to keep our followers engaged
- Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals
- Create, update, and maintain social media content across all platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and proactively increase social media traffic, growth, and engagement across all platforms
- If local, capture photos and videos of the fan experience and behind-the-scenes of team operations and player activities
- If remote, collaborate with local content collectors to request specific videos and images on game day and practice days for use in posts
- Field relevant post requests from marketing team, sometimes with quick turnaround
- Expertise in the management of all social media platforms
- Knowledge of UFA league and Carolina Flyers team and players and game
- Prior experience as a social media manager or similar role
- Prior experience in capturing of social media videos and photos
- Intermediate graphic design knowledge for content creation
