Small locally owned urgent care/family care located in South Charlotte. Searching for either full or part time Medical Assistant or Receptionist. This could include 15-35hrs/week including some weekend shifts (1-2 per month, Sat/Sun 9am -2pm).

1 year experience preferred

Duties:

Patient Registration (check in and check out) and electronic medical record entry

Answering patient inquiries (phone or email)

Vital Signs

Immunization and medication administration

Tb Test administration

Phlebotomy

Hours per week:

• 10-19
• 20-35

Administrative Duties:

• Billing
• Insurance verification
• Answering phones

Clinical Duties:

• Performing injections
• Administering medications

Supervisor:

• Nurse Practitioner/ PA-C

Typical end time:

• M-F (6:30/7:00PM)
• Weekends (2/2:30pm) (1-2 weekends/month)

Typical start time:

• M-F (7:45AM)
• Sat/Sun (8:45am)(1-2 weekends/month)
