nA DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION CREW MEMBER
nAs a Production Crew Member, you run insulation jobs, managing customer expectations to protect our company reputation and job margins. As the primary face-to-face contact for homeowners, you make sure that they receive the "wow service" that we are known for. You lead a crew of up to three to install insulation in the attic or crawlspace. Throughout the project, you are working directly alongside your crew and under your leadership, morale is high, and each crew member is inspired to take pride in their work. On top of installing our products and services with your team, you manage the paperwork, contracts, materials, and labor on jobs.
nThroughout the project, you maintain open communication with the homeowner and keep them updated on the progress. You earn added income by upselling products. Any time changes are agreed upon, you execute the change order. At the appropriate time, you collect payment from the customer. As a team player, you work closely with the production manager on training and job progress. You get great satisfaction out of delivering jobs at or below budget while maintaining customer satisfaction and employee retention!
nQUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRODUCTION CREW MEMBER
nContracting experience does not have to be specifically in insulation. Ultimately, we hire based on attitude. We provide ongoing training to attain industry certifications, including training at the National Energy Training Center in Seymour, CT.
nDo you have an outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven construction environment? Can you show empathy to both customers and employees? Do you have excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Are you able to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively? nWORK SCHEDULE
nThis full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The average crew stays out of town 6-8 days per month.
