Carolina Caring is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide hospice care for patients at our Hospice House in Newton. Carolina Caring is seeking applicants who are passionate about giving world-class care to all individuals and their families to enhance living. 

Three, 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, 7:00pm - 7:00am. Night shift positions offer an additional increased $4/hour shift differential.

This is a full-time position offering an excellent benefit package and paid time off.

Duties:

• Providing patient care in compliance with the Carolina Caring Visit Model.
• Identifying patient/caregiver needs, developing goals, and providing supportive care in accordance with the attending physician's orders and the interdisciplinary team plan of care.
• Managing the plan of care by assessing, implementing, and evaluating the services provided to each patient.
• Assessing patients, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifying supervisors or physicians of patient conditions, reactions to treatments, and significant incidents.
