Carnegie Mellon University is a global leader in information technology, privacy, assurance, cybersecurity, and IT management. Established in 2001, Carnegie Mellons Heinz College Executive Education Certificate Programs create open and closed enrollment offerings for working professionals. As part of these certificate programs, participants attend in-person sessions at our Pittsburgh campus and/or online classes. The adjunct instructor for The CDO Effective Communication Strategies, in our Chief Data Officer Certificate Program,plays an important role in educating and engaging our students.
**Core Requirements:**
- The CDO Effective Communication Strategies adjunct must present an in-person or online session once a semester to our CDataO Certificate Program students.
- The CDO Effective Communication Strategies adjunct will create content that focuses on tactics to help facilitate better communications between internal and external company stakeholders regarding data as an enterprise asset.
- The CDO Effective Communication Strategies adjunct will be prepared to present and facilitate discussion surrounding the art of storytelling with data, goals of visualization, and prescription data clustering.
** Qualifications**
- At least 10 years of work experience in a technology leadership position, and/or an advanced degree in an aligned field of study.
- Microsoft Office suite Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
